Supporting Student Success in All Areas

Student development theory has framed the importance of student affairs and university support programs in contributing to the success and well-being of college students. However, what national data do we have to back our story up? This session will explore national data on how various student affairs offices and programs, including but not limited to counseling, career services, recreation services, student activities and leadership, fraternity/sorority life, student unions, and veterans services, play a critical role in supporting college student success. We will explore the connections between these services and outcomes such as satisfaction, learning, academic performance, and retention.
