Skyfactor created an Exit Evaluation for Undergraduate Education Majors. The Skyfactor Undergraduate Education Exit Assessment provides administrators with valuable insight into the student experience and important outcomes related to that experience. Results can be effectively utilized to focus attention on both strengths and areas in need of improvement. This research note examines the overall experience of education students in relation to their current status in search for a job. A total of 1,862 graduating students participated in the 2013-2014 academic year online assessment.
Graduating students’ current stage in the search for employment may impact exit evaluations, so all responses were assessed based on where graduating education students indicated they were in this process. The three largest groups are compared here: “Researched fields of interest,” “Applied but no interviews yet,” and “Offered a position and accepted it.”
